At the Polish B2B video game convention in Kraków, Scott presented on AI and IP law, and Kirk presented on age verification law and global AI regulation issues.

Scott M. Kelly and Kirk A. Sigmon were featured panelists in the legal portions of Digital Dragons 2026, Poland’s leading business-to-business video game conference. The conference, held in downtown Kraków, featured hundreds of AAA and indie game studios, including famous European game developers CD Projekt Red, Larian Studios, Techland, and more.

Scott’s panel, “When AI Remembers Too Much,” surveyed the many issues underlying AI training and outputs, the intellectual property issues underpinning AI, and the use of AI-based systems for games development. Scott’s comments were largely based on his own extensive experience in the field, including his (and Ross’s) presentation in England at More than Just a Game involving vibe-coded video games.

Kirk spoke on two panels. In the first panel, “Are you an Adult? Are you Sure?,” Kirk surveyed the history of U.S. regulations governing age control for video games, from early knowledge based attempts at age gating in games such as Leisure Suit Larry to later, biometric-based age authentication patents. In the second panel, “AI Regulations and Compliance Across the EU – How Everyday Life at the Studio is Changing,” Kirk acted as a U.S.-based foil for European regulation authorities, speaking regarding how likely European legal efforts would impact the U.S. video game market.
